Yep, although not specifically for/under RTL.
I'm currently working on MuCoS, a plugin and IPC API for multimedia and
streaming in general, and audio in particular. (Been out of the loop for a
while, but I'm back hacking on it now. :-)
The prototype implementation runs SCHED_FIFO in user space on
Linux/lowlatency, but RTLinux is still on my mind, for applications where 2-3
ms digital latency isn't good enough, and for SMP, where very low thread
synhcronization and switching jitter is required in some situations.
