Hello realtimers
Would someone please tell me where I can find something to read about
the various timer/counters used in PCs. This will help me ask more
intelligent questions about RT. Also does anyone have a good reference for
background reading on the PIC/APIC and how it is managed under RTAI. Any
additional reading suggestions would be welcome as well.

Despite the recent RTL vs RTAI discussion on this listing I think this is a
