I am getting this error message when i try to boot up RT-Linux on a 486 embedded board (ampro CM2-4GE / 16MB DRAM / AWARD BIOS/ ISA BUS). Both Hard Drive and the Floppy Disk Drive generate the same error. The kernel version is: 2.2.14-rtl2.3. Folks in ampro have had a similar problem with Red Hat 6.1 but have managed to boot up Mandrake 7.1 all right which is what i am going to do next to get some more insight. I have looked for a description of this error in FAQs, Mailing lists and Linux Kernel internals with no luck. I am hoping to be excused for going off the topic. The sequence of events is: Powerup, Award Modular BIOS v3.10 84-90 CM/4GE R1.01 1985-2000 . . Booting Hard Drive LILO Boot: Loading linux Block move error 0x01 Similar thing happens when booting from the rescue disk using the same boot image. Thanks for any comments in advance.
