Hello Nathan and Avinash,
Thanks for your comments. I have built the kernel with network
support, and also included the smc-ultra support as built-in function.
I I checked the dmesg, I find that smc-ultra was loaded with IO=0x300
and IRQ=11 in the old kernel (2.2.5-15). With the RTLinux 2.2 kernel, the demsg
shows that the kernel is loaded with IO=0x300, and IRQ=5. How do I change the
settings? How can I make this visible at the boot time?
When I manually insert the module with "insmod smc-ultra io=0x300 irq=11", it
points to eth1, instead of eth0 (which is my default interface).
Is there a way to pass these options at boot time? Please do pass some comments.
Thanks for your time.
Regards
Ramesh
