Hi

I have to write a driver for a pci board that hold multiple (3 or 5)
IndustryPack
modules. I want this driver to work in RT.

I have tough of an architecture:

the carrier have two fifos for setting/getting params and getting base
adresses for
the different modules

The module drivers knows the name of the fifo and get their base adresse
by the carrier

Discussion from the controller RT module to the IndustryPack modules(2
meanings of module here) is done by fifo or mbuff(to be determined
after)

Is this arch valid and a good one?

The carrier is a ACROMAG APC8620/8621

The module are TEWS-DATEN TECHNIK TIP850, TIP865.

Any pointer to relevant informations will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
