Yep... For pro audio applications, the most we can deal with is about 1 ms -
anything more and there's a drop-out.

It's good and brutally fast (especially considering that it's almost one
generation older than it's main competitors!), and it could potentially stress a
system in ways that slower cards cannot. Fast acelerators can be double edged
swords in some cases...
