There is an experimental patch for x86 that lets RTLinux run with v2.4.1 in
the v3.0 final release (on the ftp site now). That patch is in the
rtlinux-3.0 RPM and the rtlinux-3.0.tar.gz source tar file. The pre-patched
kernel is based on v2.4.0-test1, though.

PPC and Alpha (UP) are stable with v2.4.1 and we'll have pre-patched
kernels and updates for v2.4.1 soon.

The v2.2 kernel did not change in moving from v3.0-pre10 to v3.0, so you
can use the same kernel you had before.

} I will be upgrading to 2.4.1 sometime (though I can't see a version for it
} at ftp.rtlinux.com/pub/rtlinux/v3/ - is the patch in rtlinux-3.0.tar.gz?),
} but in the meantime, is there any difference between the 2.2.18 3.0-pre10
} and the 2.2.18 3.0 final? Obviously if not it'll save me some time
} reinstalling the kernel as I'm lazy at heart :)
