Dear all,
I met a very strange problem of RTLinux. My system
is RedHat 7.0 + Linux Kerenl 2.2.18 + RTLinux 3.0 final. When I finish the
installation of RTLinux 3.0, everything looks fine. So I use "rtlinux start"
command to start the rtlinux. Then the strange problem happens. It says my uid
is changed. When I use "whoami" to check my status, it says "whoami: cannot find
username for UID 4294967295".(I login as root, so I think the uid should be
0)
Then I can not reboot or shutdown my computer. When
I type in "reboot", it tells me as I am not a superuser, I can not do so. I then
logout, try to restart the computer using the menu of login screen, but I just
go back to the login screen. I have to reset my computer. After I tried several
times, I found out that I just need to stop the rtlinux, then everything is OK.
So I think maybe this problem is coming from RTLinux.
I hope you can give me some help about
it.
Thanks in advance.
