Hello,
I have a question about
latency. If I'm running RTLinux on a FADS860 board, I'm wondering how long
can I expect for the Linux kernel to disable the interrupts if It's interrupted
for say keyboard input or traffic over the ethernet. I'm not even sure if I
asked that the right way. If I'm depending on interrupts for my real time
app, an interrupt from a non rtl process( keyboard, mouse, net, etc..)
would disable interrupts for the RTL process while in it's ISR, is this
correct? Or since the RTL has ths highest priority, would it's
interrupt override the disable interrupt command from the lower priority
process?
