What do you mean by 'compability'?

I use #ifdef's to handle all of my includes, and most of source as well.
Vis. #ifdef VxWorks blah blah blah, etc.  It works ok, and once you've
written the code once for VxWorks or Linux, its not that hard to port to
the other.
