I have no practical experience with Qt/Embedded, but I can't see why 
there should be any problems with any toolkit, regardless of rendering 
backend.

There *are* problems with fbdev and user space soft and firm real time 
solutions, such as Linux/lowlatency - but since RTLinux preempts 
the"standard Linux kernel, including all standard Linux drivers, this 
should not affect RTLinux threads.
