Why is it so important for you to have your AGP chipset supported? Are you planning on doing high performance graphics stuff in your non-realtime task while you are booted with your RTL kernel?
I suppose it's theoretically possible to patch your way up to a 2.4.17 or .18 kernel, but I suspect it would be extremely time consuming. An easier approach would be to try and get the rtl patches to work properly against a 2.4.18 kernel... -Calin On Thu, 14 Mar 2002, [iso-8859-1] Sbastien Kuntz wrote: > Hi! > > (i hope you won't get this msg twice, sorry for > the inconvenience if that happens..) > > I'm trying to install RT-linux on a kernel 2.4.17 > based machine. > Since the patch from rtlinux-3.1 can't be applied to > another kernel than 2.4.4 , I patched the 2.4.4 > sources.
