Hi all,

I know this is not exactly a real time issue, but I know we have members in
this group using a wide variety of hardware. I have a colleague who is
having a problem with a VXI card. I was hoping that someone here might know
where the problem lies and hopefully know of a solution.

Thanks,

Subject: Linux E1432/NI Driver Problem

We are running in the Red Hat 7.2/2.4 kernel VXI environment with the
National
Instruments VXIpc-870 embedded cpu using their vxipc Visa driver and Agilent
library
for API calls to front-end E1432 digitizer cards. The problem we are
experiencing
occurs when attempting to use certain spans which result in a higher sample
clock frequencies. A DMA error occurs when the measurement is armed.

This error does not occur running the same executable in a VXI/MXI-2
configuration.
