As the current rt_com sources on SourceForge can't be compiled with RTLinux3, I've made some modifications so that it works with RTLinux 3 with kernels 2.2 and 2.4. I've sended theses sources to Jochen K�pper the maintener of the driver. He asked me to verify with people of this mailing list theses sources modified so that we can ensure us that it works for everybody. And if ok, he will put them on SourceForge, so that RTLinux users can get an rt_com driver working for their system. To verify if it works on your RTLinux3 system, after uploading the archive (see link below) : make make test If you've a modem connected to ttyS0, you should have an OK reply (type dmesg if necessary after the end of the test) Thanks to take a little of your time to make this test. !
