Hi all,

In order to implement cleanly new multicast functions, i'm thinking to add a rtinet_socket struct holding a rtsocket + ip specific fields, on the model on what is done in standard linux. Is it a too major change or is there another reason why it hasn't been done in the first place?

To make it easier (at least for /me) to understand your suggestion, maybe you could post the new structures (e.g. as patches to the header files) and explain what they should contain, where they will reside, and who (which RTnet subsystem) is going to touch them.
