What specifically does rubinius require the LLVM infrastructure for? Required both at build time and runtime?
One of these days I'm going to try build rubinius on a Windows system using the MinGW downloads from http://llvm.org/releases/download.html#2.6 and want to know what the environment should have access to. In addition to trying to build with the LLVM-GCC Front End (rather than straight MinGW), does rubinius also need to have access to the LLVM MinGW Binaries executables (eg - llvm-as.exe, llvm-link.exe, llvm- ld.exe, etc) at runtime for JIT-like things?
