Yes, it is said to be fully mysql-compatible, but I haven't tested any app to see for myself, that's why I put it in the list. I'm thinking to open an issue at gitlab's bugtracker and ask them to include it in the supported databases.

And next question, since you already know the number of packages needed
to get into Fedora, you probably have also list of them. Could you share
it with us?
