Hi, I was wondering if there was a reason why the version of prototype that ships with Rails is still 1.6.0.1?
I was running into a problem with element.down in Prototype 1.6.0.1. 1.6.0.2 fixed the issue for me and contains a number of other bug fixes, optimizations, and security improvements. Since it is a minor release that has been out since January I thought it made sense to apply the update in rails and submitted a ticket and patch in lighthouse (http://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994/ tickets/599-update-prototype-to-1-6-0-2) I'm sorry if this is something that has been addressed elsewhere and I've just missed. I spent some time searching for a reason, then I asked in #rails-contrib before submitting the patch and didn't get any responses, and the ticket has been up for a week without any comments, so I thought I would ask here. Thanks in advance for your help, Patrick Joyce --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Core" group.
