Hi Andrew, I'm not sure about the timeline, but I know one thing for sure is that `master` is pointing for 6.0.0 release and not 5.2.2.
If we're to release a new version of 5.2.x, it will be cut from this `5-2-stable` branch: https://github.com/rails/rails/tree/5-2-stable Is the patch you need already in that branch? If not, please let us know which issue it was so we can decide if we want to backport it.
