Look into Litespeed.
http://www.litespeedtech.com/home.html

We use it for our large sites. (funadvice.com, medications.com and others).
It gets rid of the Nginx/lighty/apache/mongrel mess, and you can focus on
coding and your database.

You dont have to worry about monitoring that stack. Just write your apps and
deploy them. I don't work there, and they dont pay me. Just a happy
customer. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
