Hi there,

Please make sure you follow the guidelines for identifiers as  
described on:
http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Sortable.serialize

To see Ajax requests as they are made, use Firebug:
http://www.joehewitt.com/software/firebug/
