I have an absolutely positioned div which is at the top of my document, but
whose display is 'none'. On certain actions I want this to slide down. I'd also
like this slide down to start at the top of the viewport instead of the top of
the document. I tried something like this, but it didn't work. The element still
slides down from the top of the document.
var el = $('foo');
var pos = Postition.page(el);
if( pos[1] < 0 ) {
el.setStyle({top: Math.abs(pos[1])});
}
new Effect.slideDown(el);
Any ideas? If that's not enough, I can make a quick online example, but I wanted
to see if anyone had any ideas before I did that though.
