[Rails-spinoffs] Re: spreadsheet like support recommendations??? (i.e. ajax based table editing, in-place-editing)

If you are dealing with a table you wont even need to give the cells
unique ids's you can use the tables cellIndex and rowIndex props.
Also HTML tables can be read by excel, bonus!
