Hi, We've just released a website that is built with Prototype and Adobe's Spry framework. We use Ajax.Request to communicate with our web server to get a result for shopping search.
It works from my home, my office, at a cafe using a wireless device, but for some reasons, it fails at my friend's office. are there any circumstances that the Ajax.Request fails to get a response (maybe behind a firewall or a proxy, etc? or do I have to specify the entire URL including a domain name instead of absolute path?) Please let me know if you happen to know the reason why. By the way, you can try our website at http://try.shoppingfinder.jp (it's in Japanese though) Thanks, Satoru --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Spinoffs" group.
