Hey Pankaj!

If you are completely new to Rails, I would recommend you to go through 
this short interactive course http://railsforzombies.org . It helped me a 
lot by chilling things down when I started learning RoR about 18 months 
ago. Once you've basics cleared up, I don't know of any better 
documentation than railstutorial.org as Colin mentioned.
