Hi Jeba,

I am using Rails 2.2.2 and the actionwebservice gem.
To manage to use this gem, I uninstall all the previous actionwebservice gem
on my local machine.
Then I download the last actionwebservice repository on the github
http://github.com/datanoise/actionwebservice/tree/master .
Clone the repository any where on your local machine : git clone
git://github.com/datanoise/actionwebservice.git

Then go to your new actionwebservice directory and execute the command ruby
setup.rb
This will install the gem in your site_ruby directory. And you can now use
the actionwebservice features in your Rails application.

Don't forget to add these few lines in your environment.rb :

Rails::Initializer.run do |config|
...
config.load_paths += %W(
    #{RAILS_ROOT}/app/apis
 )
...
end

require 'action_web_service'

I hope that my configuration of actionwebservice with Rails 2.2.2 has helpt
you.
