I've just entered to this group and this is my first message. Hello everybody!
I know this seems to be a recurrent discussion, but as I couldn't find any relevant discussion before 2007, I'm asking again: there is some "standard way" (I mean, directly supported or provided from RoR) to make file uploads without page reloading (aka Ajax Upload -- I know, this is not _really_ Ajax)? The best material I found about it is very descriptive indeed (http:// kpumuk.info/ruby-on-rails/in-place-file-upload-with-ruby-on-rails/), but it is from 2006! So, I refuse to believe there is not something new about it. So, what do you say guys (and girls too =P)?
