Hello All, I read an article a while back about performance in Ruby. I remember a lot of talk about vast improvements in ruby 1.9.x (completely new compiler code). I'm thinking about making the upgrade on my Redhat 5 server and I thought to offer up some questions.... any opinions will be appreciated.
Has anyone made that upgrade for their own rails server? Will I need to do anything special to keep mongrel running? Has anyone noticed a significant performance boost in their rails apps as a result of it? Was there any problems with rails code or custom code breaking down?
