The Role

Join a fast moving team in the development of next generation web
products that marry rich analytics with secure, standards based, and
high performing end user experience.

The ideal candidate will join a quickly growing agile team in the
development of a new web product that is targeted for Beta launch
within an aggressive time-frame. We are looking for an experienced
hands-on Ruby on Rails developer who has experience with leveraging
Rails best practices and is willing to find a path to success by
researching and recommending alternatives when faced with challenging
situations.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering
or related field
-Ruby on Rails development and architecture experience
-Nginx, Mongrel, GIT, Capistrano, Memcached and other services
supporting Rails
-Central in the development of at least 1 ROR production system
-Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving
-Tackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issues
-Worked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous integration,
unit/integration/load/performance testing
-RDBMS experience including schema design and content modeling
-Strong command of web standards and best practices
