I want to collect a value and then use the value to edit the record, I have so far:
<p><label for="treetag">TAG number on tree:</label><br/> <%= text_field_tag 'treetag' %></p> <%=link_to "Edit", :controller => "inventory", :action => "edit", :id => 5%> I need to get the value out of the text_field_tag and put it on the ":id =>" is there an easy way to do this?
