Yes, I am using bundler, just that in my gemfile it states to use versions 
either BIGGER THAN or equal (~>) to the speicified versions, which is the 
reason why different versions are appearing on new systems.

I am not fully up on using bundler, is there a way to lock to specific 
versions of gems?
