The binding for a Fact Type and Field is in the Action column definition. The value passed to an editor is for that bound Fact and Field.
You can only declare one Fact Field per column; so custom editors are limited to exposing\manipulating the same. Can you describe more what you wanted to achieve; the use-case is intriguing?
