Can an Eclipse user adjust the README.md in droolsjbpm-build-bootstrap
to include this trick for the gwt configuration?

I will have to check that when I get home. But just using

Have you tried running Guvnor with War option? Google
-> Web Toolkit
Settings -> Web Application, Check the checkbox "This
project has WAR
directory", then set WAR directory to
"target/guvnor-webapp-5.4.0-SNAPSHOT", also check the
checkbox "lunch
and deploy from this directory"
