I've looked into this before. Even the latest antlr-runtime 3.4 still depends on the old antlr 2.7.7: http://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails|org.antlr|antlr-runtime|3.4|jar
This issue is been around for a while, here's all the info: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBRULES-3173 I mailed them about it a few months ago (their jira is read only IIRC), no word since.
