I just tried using Eclipse 3.5.0, jdk 1.6.0_06 and the latest Drools 5.1.0.SNAPSHOT on RHEL and everything seems to be working fine ...
Could you specify the exact environment you are getting this error in, so I can at least try to reproduce?
