I'm a tiny bit alarmed by the lack of response here...while it's child's play to hack around inside my pom.xml and restructure things to correct for the bad transitive dependency settings, this is a pretty fundamental flaw in the way Drools is depended upon by lots of people. Has anyone looked into this?
