Esteban, Thank you so much for your replies,

 I successfully deployed designer.war and created simple bpmn process(Process.bpmn2) in Drools-guvnor.
Here I am getting small problem, In Drools-guvnor, After completion of creating Process.bpmn2, as soon as when I click "save changes",  automatically process got disappeared and getting blank page in the pallette.

I used same Process.bpmn2  from guvnor repository and opened in Eclipse, here I am able to  see in  Eclipse clearly and made changes in Process.bpmn2 in Eclipse
Again When I try to open Process.bpmn2 in  Drools-guvnor, Same I am getting blank page.
Please suggest me any one to get ride of this problem.

The steps seem to be ok. You are using an old version of designer though. Even if it should work fine, you could try to use the latest version: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jbpm/files/designer/designer-1.0.0.055/ There you have a specific version for JBoss that I tried myself.

I followed steps simple steps from : http://blog.athico.com/2010/09/bpmn2-authoring-in-drools-guvnor.html  and also I am writing those steps below.
How to use the designer:
a) Download the designer.war from here and unzip it into $jboss_home/server/$config/deploy directory.
b) Start up your server instance.
c) Navigate to http://localhost:8080/designer/editor

I am using Jboss 5.0.0.GA,The exact name of my .war file is designer(designer.war),  I couldn't find any file related to designer.war  in log file, means I can confirm that designer.war is not deploying properly, moreover guvnor-drools.war is deploying properly and it is also showing deployment status in log file. The problem with my designer.war only.

Please any one can tell me the link where I can get latest designer.war file for Drools-guvnor  ?

I don't know why, but I can't access the blog you mention, so I'm not sure which steps did you follow.

From your logs, it seems you are using jboss AS 2.1.1, am I right? I'm not sure how to check if a particular webapp is deployed or not in jboss AS, but the first thing you can check is the output log of the app server to see if there is any error there. 

By the way, what is the exact name of the .war file you are deploying?

And regarding your last question, you don't need to have eclipse plugin installed in order to run designer.

No, I am unable to browse the process through the  link http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile="">
means I didn't deployed designer webapp properly, Sorry I don't know whether designer webapp  is deployed or not.
Please let me know how to check this.

and also one more doubt, for accessing the link http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile="">
do we need to install Jbpm plugins in Eclipse?
As of now I haven't install Jbpm plugins in Eclipse.

Can you confirm that designer webapp is deployed at least? It is also important that the context name must be "designer"  
By the way, even if designer is running properly, you can't just browse it with /designer/. You need to pass 2 mandatory parameters: uuid (can be empty) and profile: http://localhost:8080/designer/editor?profile="">

Hi to all,

but when i am trying to create the process in Guvnor I am getting following error:

HTTP Status 404- /designer/editor/

type Status report

message /designer/editor/

description The requested resource (/designer/editor) is not available

JBoss Web/2.1.1.GA.


and also I am unable to open the designer through browser
I got above same error in browser.


Please any one help me.
