Hi Amitesh,
I think that the cause is a network setup. Can you get a reply from a ping
command?
$ ping pypi.python.org
Please check the following files, if there is no reply.
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/network/interface
And note that dependence packages are not installed now in the installation
from PyPI. The installation of dependence packages need to run the
following manually after PyPI installation.
$ sudo pip install `wget -qO -
https://raw.github.com/osrg/ryu/master/tools/pip-requires | tr "\n" " "`
