No, it is very much appreciated. :) I've just finished looking through the 5032K test boxes (on Linux) and have found nothing (besides all the problems and limitations that are already known). However, interestingly on the tested GNU/Linux displaying a long history list could be truncated, a problem that i haven't seen yet either. That made me recall one of your earlier messages... Anyway, i've just committed 'Fix fucking C STD I/O' (which adds a hack that i'm already using here and there to overcome the restriction that rewind(3) is often overoptimized in that it doesn't necessarily rewind the underlaying file descriptor, but that is the thing that is used by $PAGER... And there is no POSIX / ISO C functionality that can be used.
