Oh, that will not happen in 2020, unfortunately, i hope we will see at least v14.10.0 in autumn (summer sailed too by now, i cannot accomplish that). (You refer to a "i gave up on perfection" mail? That too, yes, but more regarding (programming) languages, portable code, and in general coding as such. Even human errors aside, i do not think it is possible. And even if you think it is almost there, if you come back after some time you will be surprised, mostly. And then, the world moves on, and if you do not live and write for the isolated island of the happy, you have to adjust for that. Today i would no more dare to write my own threading code, for example. I do not care to optimize code for minimized inter-dependency for static linking no more either. I have to fit myself in a grown and complicated linker and library environment with thread local storage and threads to the core. In short: busted.)
