Yahoo has an approval process for newcomers to the list. We moderators use it to help us keep spammers out. It is most interesting to read the notes regarding why the newcomers want to join. Roughly half are switching from another scale (smaller scales are too small, larger scales take up too much space). The other half want to know MORE about their already current favorite scale.
