So gentleman, what is the cost to make the plastic, and the brass parts?

Both come from a tool* that had to be made, the one at Grandt was made about
when and the one at BTS was made when. Is there a time difference here that
would cause one tool to be more expensive than the other? Or is the BTS
tool actually a *brass master that then has to be rubber molded and a wax made
to burn out (that is not a cheap process and time consuming)

I would guess the cost of the plastic for each part from either company
would be about the same and labor to produce it, bag it and inventory it.

But if the brass part comes from a plastic part through burnout or a wax
part, also through burnout from a rubber mold, either has the extra cost which
drives the brass part up.

So what are we really comparing here? The price of a brass part has almost
always been higher just because of the extra steps involved to make it and
the cost of more expensive material.
