Hello Folks. My memory has failed me and I need somebody's help. Some 2-3 months ago a friend loaned me a copy of a special interest magazine. I read it and then returned it. (Error-he disposed of it and doesn't remember the name, etc. or where he got it.) Since we will soon be traveling in the area that was featured I'd gladly pay for a copy, or photocopy.
The magazine was very well done with excellent B & W photographs. The major subject matter of this particular issue dealt with the mining area in southeast Arizona north of I-10 including Clifton, Morenci, and Safford and the 2' & 3' gauge railroads that once ran there. Not only were there maps, as I recall, but locomotive rosters, builders photos, etc. I may be mistaken, but for some reason I have the feeling that the author may have been Jan Rons? If you can help please email ASAP. I am not a member of any of the Narrow Gauge lists but if one of you is perhaps you could pass on my request to one or more of them.
