Believe Wives are underated assest for Model Railroaders. Contrary to most Model Railroaders, the General Population sees even the most realistic, scale-like, prototypical Models & Layouts as TOYS! Add the Collecting aspect of Model Railroading into the mix, along with Railfaning, publications, videos, etc... and you have an entire Industry which feeds on this Adult neurosis, which I guess is good for the economy and usually doesn't hurt anyone, unless you buy $2,500 locos you can't really afford. If it wasn't for our Wives, we all would have $2,500 locos, but also holes in our socks & worn-out underwear.
