"Ed & Folks,
I think most of the items that you are referring to were taken care
of by the old ACE line of stuff and earlier by Nimco's line of
conversion kits. I have a AF PA set which ride on those conversion
wheels followed by a AF Hudson with Nimco scale drivers, I also have
one AF boxcar (PRR x-29) that uses the old Ace metal floor, and a few
AF gondolas that have a conversation bolster (locally made) that
resembles the Ace. Bob Werre"

Our dear departed John Long, [Camp Hill, Pa.] ran an converted American Flyer
PA set, that ran on "Hobby Shop , San Jose, Ca." AF Diesel conversion wheel
sets, plus, it also had DCC with sound. A true show piece in S scale! [The
Hobby Shop" A complete service to the Hobbiest - Manufacturers Northern "S"
Gauge Railroad Equipment]

I still have one pack, and I'm sure they are still laying around in our S Scale
Old Timers scrap boxes.
I don't remember the date I bought this pack, but it cost me $4.00! The packet
has C-30 stamped on it.

Who said that "Ace Products" aren't needed anymore? As more new members get
into S scale, they will want to do what us old timers have done for years,
convert, bash and build! Like Bob, I have a lot of converted rolling stock
still operating on the Jefferson Central.

Hey, lets go and run the trains!

"S"ee Ya,
Bill
