I have MR nearly complete from the late 40's thru about 1992 when I realized it no longer had much I was interested in. In fact, I seem to recall them announcing at one point that reviews would no longer be critical in nature but would be on the order of "reports". I'm not going to attack MR. They want to survive and it is all about the advertising $ and promoting what is popular, which may not be what we are interested in.
On the other hand, the S Gaugian has 2 regular columnists that "Do Scale" and the NASG Dispatch has also carried many good articles, so there is some good stuff out there.
