Garry & all who do NOT get this newspaper size railroad mag.

In my opinion, even though this mag is not S specific ( it carries
news and reviews on ALL model railroading stuff), it is well worth your
money to subscribe. Our own Roy Hoffman does an S column, although
every OTHER month. The reviews seem to be thorough and fair. They give a
prototype background so as to compare what the maker did with his/her
model offering. For locos, they give some power capabilities (start-up
volts & such, weight, etc).
Due to the large size and the ability of a two page spread, they
give close up pixs of the model, so you can see what is being described.
The Editor is a former grade school teacher and seems to know how to
make a possible difficult subject understandable to all levels without
talking down to someone. I appreciate the columns on DCC.
