Andy,
    Sorry, but I have to disagree!  Although some computer simulations may
satisfy and dazzle some, two dimensional, fifteen inch +or- screens just
don't come close to the real thing; model or proto.  As a former fighter
pilot, I have experienced high quality, three dimensional, motion
simulators.  But still, it isn't the same.  Anyone with a thirst for the
real thing is going to expose himself/herself to the real thing!  Those who
choose a picture on the screen over an actual layout have neither the
exposure, interest, nor the means to objectively select between the two. 
Just my opinion!
