The Schnabel Car left Duluth, Minnesota today with a record 806 ton load bound
for Alberta. It had to wait until the ground froze and firmed up. The
pictures are awesome. The car has been sitting idle on the Duluth waterfront

If you click on the current year pictures section, you will probably find
photos of the unloading and the other parts of the two shiploads of shale oil
extraction equipment, but the downloading was too slow on my dial up
connection. The train that left with the rest of the shipment was equally
impressive.
