I too recently took delivery of a new SHS Union Pacific 2-8-0 Consolidated steam engine. I couldn't believe how great it looks and how detailed it is. I would think any scaler would enjoy this engine. Unfortunately, mine does not run right and makes bizarre noises (not related to the problems described on their website), so they will be sending me another engine. One thing I can always count on with SHS is the excellent customer service. I own several of their engines and have used nothing but their track on my 20' x 12' home layout. Even with this slight glitch with my new engine, I'm still a very satisfied SHS customer.
